Palin is Already Vetted
Okay so the debate is over, well the first of three televised debates and I think it is (very) safe to say that Governor Mitt Romney won the debate… easily.
Romney was calm, cool and collective. He spoke with confidence and passion and wiped the floor with a very hesitant and confused looking President Obama. Obama came across as annoyed and Romney wiped the floor up with him in this debate. If the next two debates go the same way, Obama will be unemployed come January 1, 2013. No amount of spin can change what happened.
On the other hand, it is not that Romney won, it is that we now see Obama in a position where he must answer for his policies. Those policies have failed. Just ask the unemployed, our veterans, our allies, or our children! Although I am not an Obama supporter at all, I always thought that he could talk the talk, even if he couldn’t walk the walk. However, from watching that debate over and over (I did watch it about 4 times – call me sad if you will), I can honestly say that President Obama failed to even talk his usual smooth talking bullshit. Instead, he looked confused, unvetted and as if he had just walked in off the street and hadn’t even heard of some of his own policies.
The polls show that Governor Romney won the debate by a landslide, however, there is only one poll that matters, and that is the election itself! So who will win that long race to the White House? I guess we shall see come November!
I’ve seen a lot of stupid things written about Sarah Palin, and the 2008 presidential race, but blaming her for the McCain defeat ranks right up there as the absolute stupidest.
Sarah Palin was chosen to be John McCain’s running mate because, frankly, he was going nowhere in the polls, and the base of the party couldn’t stand him. Mitt Romney faces the same problem today.
McCain chose Sarah Palin because she was the best, most popular governor in the nation. She is a true reformer and a fiscal hawk. She had an unprecedented sustained approval rating in the 90s as Governor of Alaska. The media, at the time, were astounded by this.
The ONLY time McCain led Obama in the polls was after he chose Palin.
Of course, there was a HUGE effort to make her the choice. Conservatives nationwide had a “Draft Sarah Palin” effort. And Frank Aquila, a California fireman, and McCain campaign state chair, also played a huge part. He was relentless in his efforts.
As pointed out in “Today’s GOP Establishment: Real Reformers Need Not Apply”
It was McCain and his useless campaign manager Steve Schmidt who lost against Obama, BIG TIME.
Schmidt refused to vet Obama, and stopped Palin when she started going after him. McCain actually told voters they had “nothing to fear” from Obama. Meanwhile Palin predicted EXACTLY what kind of disaster he would be.
The coup de grâce was when dumb ass McCain “suspended” his campaign and ran back to Washington to push for TARP. Something the American people didn’t want. McCain looked stupid, and allowed Obama to look in charge.
THAT cost McCain the election, not Sarah Palin.
Again, choosing Palin is the ONLY smart thing McCain has done in years.
If Palin is such a drain, why is it that in 2010 she endorsed over a 100 candidates for local, state, and national races, with most of them now holding office? This includes 4 Governors, two states Attorneys General, one Lt Governor, and a whole bunch of congresscritters. Thanks to Palin, America saw the largest political turnover since Reconstruction, after the Civil War.
Fast forward to 2012. Candidates are BEGGING for Sarah’s endorsement. It’s still the only one that matters.
So far she’s helped defeat Obama’s “favorite Republican” Dick Lugar in Indiana by backing Richard Mourdock, and last night her candidate Deb Fischer, who was almost 20 points down, and out of money a week ago, won in a blowout.
She’s endorsed Ted Cruz over the Establishment candidate David Dewhurst in Texas. Ted Cruz’s campaign reports that the phones are ringing off the wall and support pouring in after he endorsement.
Maybe you should do your research about the 2008 election before you start burning barns.
The title of this blog post is in reference to the tragic shoot out in Tucson, Arizona. There have been many media reports regarding the incident, and the majority of them are gunning for the Former Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin (as per usual).
The media and of course all the Sarah Palin haters are all of course tightening the noose around Palin’s neck because of the Crosshairs image she has uploaded onto her Facebook page which shows certain political people with crosshairs on them – shown below:
Now of course the Former Governor didn’t mean that we should all go load our guns and shoot down all the people named on this map, that would be absurd. Although that is what small minded, ignorant people are going to believe – thanks to the biased views of the media and her haters.
Again in the media we are seeing more ‘Palin hate’. News reports say that she is showing no remorse, isn’t empathising and isn’t being human due to what has happened to Gabby Giffords and her staff. However, if you watch the video below I am sure you will find that Mrs. Palin seems to empathise and sympathise with the family and even explains that the media are taking everything and putting their own spin on the situation – clearly to sell newspapers.
Watched the video? Good. As you can probably see, there are many nasty and malicious comments posted about her in the comment section on Youtube – I think some should be removed… But no where in that video, or in any other videos, will you hear the Former Alaskan Governor ask the American people to go out and gun down members of Congress! Whoever came to that conclusion was clearly on some sort of trip…
One could look at this situation from a conspiracy point of view… Was this shooting managed so that Palin would take blame, and therefore slimming her chances for a 2012 run for the White House? Was this a set-up to make Palin look bad?
Some have even began a petition to have Sarah Palin ARRESTED for hate crimes and igniting violence against the Democratic party! Nonsense!
Sarah Palin did not use crosshairs to ignite any sort of violent act against the named members of Congress. I can see through this media rubbish that is trying to drag her name through the mud, AGAIN. I hope you can too!
Sarah Palin 2012.
